Apprise Solutions was established in Australia in 2000. It operated successfully as a sales training organisation focused predominantly on out-bound telephone sales and worked with a number of corporate, franchise and small, medium sales organisations in Australia and New Zealand. Apprise Solutions also provided consulting services in the corporate travel sector.

Allen Burton

Allen Burton is the Managing Director of Apprise Solutions. Allen has worked at senior level in multi-national organisations in South Africa, UK, New Zealand and Australia. Allen has extensive experience in retail, travel, e-commerce and distribution and has managed large and small workplaces. Allen has taken the reigns at Apprise Solutions as it has stepped up its range of products and services.

Allen has successfully lead teams to dramatically increase levels of customer service and sales and has a strong philosophy of honesty and integrity in the work place to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. He brings these principles with him to Apprise along with a determination to provide real and sustainable results for our clients.

Allen’s practical business experience and philosophy is backed by a strong academic background. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Advertising & Marketing) and a Grad.Dip.Edu (Distn.) as well as Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. As a qualified teacher, he has a solid understanding of learning methodologies. He is currently completing a Masters in Education (Leadership) through Monash University.

Mary Burton

Mary’s role at Apprise is to find and develop new business. Contact with Mary may well be how you are first introduced to Apprise.

Mary founded Apprise Solutions in 2000 and used her expertise in call centres and outbound telephone sales to develop a successful small enterprise.

Mary has worked predominantly in banking, office products and telecommunications, her many focus has always been on sales, sales teams and in particular call centres. In establishing Apprise Solutions, Mary developed and wrote her own training programmes and in recent years has authored a (yet to be published) biography on her brother and well-known New Zealand businessman Eric Watson. Through her writing Mary has had many insights into the qualities and characteristics of highly effective and successful business people.

Mary is entrepreneurial by nature and was involved with the Blue Star Office Products company in New Zealand as a founding Director and helped developed the sales teams and sales philosophy. Mary held the position of National Training Manager for Blue Star when she left to start her own business. Mary believes the Brian Tracy suite of programmes contains all plus a whole lot more of tools that enabled Blue Star and the individuals in the organisation to achieve outstanding results.

Mary is the mother of three daughters and understands the complexities and challenges of juggling motherhood and career while retaining a sense of self. Mary has traveled extensively, has a strong sense of community involvement and is committed to achieving results for her clients.
